4am dec 14th
So I wake up around 4 am this morning, kinda mad that I couldn't keep sleeping, and decide to flip through channels. Usually I just flip through the regulars, but they mostly have paid programming for some really un-cool invention. Anyway, I decide to go to the network channels, and on it is Lt. General Sanchez in a press conference giving the debreifing on the capture of Saddam. The banner at the bottom said "breaking news" and at the top corner it said "live", but I was like, yeah no way, so I change to another network channel, and low and behold, they have the same thing on. So of course I go directly to fox news, and yup, Saddam is captured. Why I am I spouting on this? Well, I think it's cool that I wake up at stupid 4 in the morning and find out that one more evil in he world was brought to his knees. Granted he was out of power (or so I assumed.. who knows), but this is a glimmer of hope for the world. No one likes war, and I'll be glad when all this crap is said and done with, even if this shit is goin pretty fast. But still, I hold the child-like ideals of peace on earth and blah blah, even though that shit will never happen, cuz people are idiots and fight over the most stupid bullshit. Anyway, yeah... that's all. Cynical and idealistic, hey what can I say I'm an anomoly...
