Short term memory (if there is such a thing) is composed of 5 units, plus or minus two. Hence, to make a funny, lists have to be 4 or less, preferably 3. Any more would allow previous information to be displaced, taking away from the humor.

Rock the Casbah!!

Went out with James last night to a show at the Casbah. Yes yes, James, the Casbah is DEFINATELY the coolest venue. So we got there a lil late, around 930 or so just to catch the tail end of a band I never heard of, Absinthe Blind. Wasn't really diggin it hard core, but the front man was enough to get my engine started. James and I grab a beer, and I was all stoked to see that they had Sapporo, and was even moreso stoked to see Steve Burns. Thats what's cool about the small venues.. you get to see the bands walking around and chillin like it aint no thang. Anyway, saw his show, and it was quite amusing. Bought a 45 and got his autograph. Seems like such a nice fellow. Too bad I didn't say, "Hey, excuse me.. um, but you're on my list, so that means I get to have sex with you and my boyfriend can't get mad." He's a bit shorter in person, yet still taller than me so that's all good. Quite good looking in person, so at least that's not a disappointment. Nice that I got to actually meet a person on my list.

Things as of Late:

Got my hair cut. Not the usual "Larah-style" frock, but an actual "Ryoga fuct up and cut Akane's Hair" style cut. I really like it. It suits me. (although Eric says I look like mandy moore.... whatever dude.) Gonna go back to the lady and get some crazy ass highlights. WOO HOO for the student coupon book!

Been shopping more as of late. I like Ross. Ross is king. Got a whole outfit: shoes, jeans and a shirt under 40 dollars. Watch out Rachel Ray!! Also like Pac Sun. Should check out LA Rack in downtown if it's still there. I wonder if that hot girl from my chem class still works there. She was so damn sweet and hot.

My computer is fixed courtesy of a one Chris Johnson. Much appreciated governer.

Here's the list of books I want to read, or finish: The rest of Stranger from a Strange Land, Voltaire, Descartes, Letters from the Earth, Winter of our Discontent, all my Rand, and a bunch of philosophy and Jazz, art and culture books. Shame on me.

Went drunken bowling on friday. Too bad you weren't there.

Pretty sore due to choreography class. This is my dumas: "I don't need to strech before this class, this isn't really a movement class anyway..."

Oh yeah, and I wanna read the new Janet Evanocvich. Also need to finsih my other stuff.... shame on me.

Acne is somewhat subsiding. Hoorah for Murad. Don't like the perscriptions that my Doc gave me, save the tretinoin. I like moi mucho.

Need to find me a Japanese friend. Not American, but a FOP Japanese friend, (and that's fresh off the plane, cuz I'm quite biased, okay Eric?). Anyway, yeah so I can practice conversation. My skills suck. I sound like a 5 year old, with a very manly accent.

Okay enough... no page or pic. too damn lazy at this moment. Maybe tomorrow... maybe

Oh, how'd my piece go you ask? It went well. Pretty simple movements compared to the veterans in my class. Turned out to be a bit more narrative than I expected....
