Short term memory (if there is such a thing) is composed of 5 units, plus or minus two. Hence, to make a funny, lists have to be 4 or less, preferably 3. Any more would allow previous information to be displaced, taking away from the humor.

Goodbye Beth Rickards

If you listen to the Dave Shelly and Chainsaw, you more than likely know of Beth Rickards, Dave's darling trophy wife. She passed away yesterday morning from a heart attack she had this past saturday. It feels as if a good friend of mine has just past on, even though I know her only through the radio. Pretty depressed this whole day- even had tears well up. Strange how some things are...

In more depressing news, I got that God dammned blaster worm whatever thing, and it fuct up my computer royally. Thanks to Chris for making it all better. The damn thing is still on my computer, but he said he'd rectify that tomorrow. A million and one thanks to you Chris. You saved my lil Magical Machine. Don't really feel like shelling out more cash for a thousand dollar porn machine again, so yay. Okay okay, this wonderful beautiful laptop only cost me 1/2 a G, (ooh Steve, "thanks to you! You such nice lady to help me!!") but that's like a once in a lifetime find. I love you computer. You are a great friend and absolutely charming and lovely. One day I will program you to make sweet sweet love to me in a most gratifying manner. woah, gross larah...

Hawaii this spring break!! Finally, in my college career, I can actually say "Spring Break! WOO OOOOO!" Usually spring break consisted of me playing solitare from a makeshift deck of playing cards. I rule at makeshift. I also rule at Lanyard Ball. The genius of the game is there is no ball involved (*slowly places finger upon lip*).

Okay I'm out. Shout out to the homies: Steve for hookin me up with my computer in the first place and allowing me to intterupt his "date" for the evening. ChRiS (you dig that multi caps?) for saving my computer. Tim for being there like my brother that I love, and Eric, just because. Boo to James for dropping the ball. (sike James, you're the best) He's not gonna know what I'm talking about.

"The Dance of Good Feelings"

Haven't had a "real" day off since the 18th of July. I like saying this cuz it makes me sound hard core. I didn't work at either job on the 8th, but had choreography class later on, so it wasn't really a day off. It does look like I'll have the 18th and 22nd off though, but usually that's filled up with laundry and chores and such. Funny how I look forward to these Suzy homemaker things... eg, get all stoked to clean my bathroom. Would like more time though to finish up all my lil mini projects like finish making my scarf and jacket or find all the junk I need at fabric stores, or augment my record collection, etc. Haven't even read Heinlein all the way through yet, and it's due thursday... wanted to re-read all my chapters in Functional Neuroscience, and brush up on my Itallian and Japanese. Seems like this summer is busier than my school schedule, which is pretty hecktic, yet sans all the stress.

Anyway, the dance of good feelings... Have to come up with a phrase, about 45 seconds long by friday. My motivation for this piece is movements that feel good. No narrative quality, just a dance of good feelings. Perhaps a little auto biographical though... This summer has been absolutely wonderful. Busy, but wonderful. Like, even though work is work, it's quite rewarding. I guess the dance will be sorta like that with movements that require a lil effort, but feel good.

TV is my enemy. I will flog it with a wet tea towel.
